How to use a deodorant paste (the right way!) + VIDEO

So ... you like the idea of a natural deodorant that’s free from toxins, but the thought of applying a paste to your pits kinda creeps you out?

We hear ya.

The key thing to remember here is it’s easy, it’s kinda’ fun, it's better for you, and the benefits of using Woohoo All-Natural Deodorant Paste far outweigh the weirdness of swiping paste over your armpits!

Why you should embrace natural deodorant

Woohoo All-Natural Deodorant Paste is 100% natural. No nasties, no BS.

Toxins like aluminium salts (used in anti-perspirants, which we are NOT) block your pores and try to stop your body’s natural sweating process.

On the other hand, a natural deodorant like Woohoo lets your sweat escape and absorbs it instead to help lessen that wet feeling. Much kinder, right?

We think using a deodorant that’s packed with unsafe ingredients is the pits (pardon the pun!). Especially when you take a minute to think about the fact that aluminium salts are a known toxin and have been linked to some serious health outcomes. Scary!

[shameless plug alert]

Woohoo uses ingredients like magnesium hydroxide, olive leaf extract and bicarb soda to banish B.O., clays and activated charcoal to absorb sweat, and essential oils for that great deo scent.

Nothing nasty here. No way.

Of course, cluing up on how to apply your deodorant paste, the right way, can be useful. So here’s the lowdown…

How to … Woohoo

Some of our cute little pots come with their own mini spatula to help make it super easy to scoop out your paste, but clean fingers are totally fine!

Using your spatula or tip of your index finger, take a pea-size amount and warm it by rubbing your index finger and thumb together.

TIP #1: Patch test first. It's very unlikely but just in case your body doesn't agree with one of our 100% natural ingredients please test a small amount before going for a full application.

TIP #2:Some people use a pea sized amount for both armpits, and some people use a pea per pit (PPP). Start small and see how you go. But remember - sometimes less is more!

Next, simply rub it under your arm until it disappears. Think moisturiser for your armpits. If you're just getting started it might be an idea to stick to your armpit area and avoid applying to too large an area (i.e. stay in the lines) :)

It’s seriously that easy.

Your armpits will thank you! And you’ll still be smelling fresh at the end of the day. Now that’s a happy ending.
